Natural results and safe injections are always what we strive for in our practice at The Aesthetic Boutique. However, unintended complications may occur no matter how experienced your injector. Hylenex is the filler reversal product that would be used in our practice if an emergency situation were to arise. If you have a dermal filler that needs reversal that was injected by another provider, please return to your previous provider for reversal procedure.

Hylenex Injection Procedure

The procedure is done using a small needle and may require a minimal to moderate amount of Hylenex (hyaluronidase) to correct or dissolve. Multiple treatments as well as follow up visits may be needed.

What are the risks?

Bruising and swelling are always a risk as with any injection and may occur for a couple of days but will resolve on its own.

Which fillers are reversible?

Hyaluronic acid fillers such as those found in the Juvederm portfolio including, Voluma, Vollure, Volbella, Volux, Ultra Plus, and Ultra.
