Obagi® saypha® ChIQ™ is an FDA-approved hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler designed specifically for cheek augmentation and restoring lost volume in the midface in adults over the age of 21.

ChIQ™ is made with hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in the body that helps support skin hydration, volume, and elasticity. The formulation also contains lidocaine to help improve comfort during treatment.
ChIQ™ treatments are performed by a licensed healthcare professional who is trained and experienced in advanced dermal filler injection techniques. The filler is carefully placed into the midface using an ultrafine needle or cannula, depending on your individualized treatment plan.
ChIQ™ may be injected beneath the skin and/or above the bone to restore volume and enhance the natural contour of the cheeks. Small amounts are strategically placed to create a balanced result rather than an overfilled appearance.
The lidocaine contained within ChIQ™ helps reduce discomfort during treatment. Your provider may gently massage the treated area to help the product settle evenly, and ice may be applied briefly to help minimize swelling and discomfort.
Treatment time will vary depending on your individual treatment plan. Temporary swelling, tenderness, firmness, lumps or bumps, bruising, redness, itching, or discomfort at the injection site may occur. These effects are generally temporary and typically resolve within approximately two weeks.
As with all dermal fillers, there are rare but serious risks associated with accidental injection into a blood vessel.

How Long Does Obagi® ChIQ™ Last?
In clinical studies, the results of ChIQ™ lasted up to 48 weeks in most subjects. Repeat treatment may be appropriate to maintain your desired results. The product itself may remain in the treated area for approximately two years. Individual results will vary.
